Founder story — Luntu Manjiya
Luntu founded Polchar in 2015 with a clear mission: build a manufacturing business that creates youth employment, empowers women entrepreneurs, and produces world-class apparel from South Africa.
A decade in, Polchar is investing in digital manufacturing systems, expanding its product range, and growing the Basadi Women Empowerment Network — community-led workshops and training that extend our impact beyond the factory floor.
